We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse to join our plastic surgery clinic. The successful candidate will assist the plastic surgeon in performing aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, provide patient care, and ensure a smooth recovery process. The role requires a strong understanding of aesthetic treatments, excellent patient communication skills, and a passion for helping patients enhance their appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Procedure Care:
Conduct consultations with patients to assess their needs, expectations, and suitability for various aesthetic treatments.
Explain pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients.
Prepare patients for surgeries and non-surgical procedures.
Obtain medical histories and ensure patients’ readiness for treatments.
Surgical & Non-Surgical Assistance:
Assist the plastic surgeon during aesthetic surgeries such as facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentations, and other cosmetic procedures.
Administer non-surgical treatments, including injectables (Botox, fillers), chemical peels, laser treatments, and other skin rejuvenation techniques.
Monitor the patient’s condition during the procedures and ensure safety and comfort.
Post-Procedure Care:
Provide post-procedure care and instructions to ensure proper healing and recovery.
Manage wound care, dressings, and follow-up appointments.
Address any complications, side effects, or concerns the patient may have post-treatment.
Patient Education & Consultation:
Educate patients on various aesthetic treatments, skincare routines, and best practices to maintain the desired results.
Offer guidance on lifestyle changes or products that could enhance treatment outcomes.
Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to encourage loyalty and future visits.
Clinic Management:
Maintain a sterile and clean environment in the treatment rooms.
Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized and in working order.
Maintain patient records, including details of procedures, follow-up appointments, and medical history.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent (DHA/HAAD/MOH license required).
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in aesthetic nursing, preferably in a plastic surgery or dermatology setting.
Certifications: Certification in cosmetic treatments such as Botox, fillers, laser treatments, etc. is preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in various aesthetic procedures (injectables, peels, laser therapy).
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working closely with a plastic surgeon and other medical staff.
