The Aerostructure Technician is responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of aircraft structures. They will interpret engineering drawings, perform structural repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Aerostructure Technician will also conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve any structural issues.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabricate and assemble aircraft structures according to established procedures.
Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft components.
Inspect aircraft structures for damage or wear and recommend repairs.
Conduct non-destructive testing and inspections to assess structural integrity.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve structural issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance.
Knowledge of aircraft systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Familiarity with aviation safety regulations and procedures.
