Responsibilities:
Data Strategy Leadership: Lead high-level data strategy meetings with senior executives (CDO, CTO) and act as a trusted advisor for long-term data initiatives.
Data Architecture Implementation: Develop and implement robust data architectures that align with business objectives and modern data strategies (e.g., data lake, data fabric, data marketplace, and data virtualization).
Cloud Platform Expertise: Work hands-on with one or more leading cloud providers, particularly Azure or Google, to design scalable and high-performance data solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data architecture supports business goals and complies with governance standards.
Framework Adherence: Utilize TOGAF or similar frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency in architecture design.
Onsite Leadership: Be present in KSA (or relocate for 6-9 months) to lead key data architecture efforts and work closely with regional teams.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in data architecture and strategy.
Experience leading data strategy discussions with senior executives (CDO/CTO level).
Strong expertise in modern data concepts such as Data Lake, Data Fabric, Data Virtualization, and Data Marketplace.
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure or Google).
Deep understanding of TOGAF or related architecture frameworks.
Willingness to work onsite in KSA for a period of 6-9 months.
Hands-on experience with Denodo.
Familiarity with Informatica Marketplace solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related data discipline.
Relevant certifications in data architecture, cloud platforms (Azure/Google), and TOGAF or similar frameworks are highly desirable.
