Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Point of contact with the contractors, consultants, and/or clients for any topics (insurance, salary, pay slip, expense claim, bank details, immigration, timesheets, accommodation, flight tickets, etc).
  2. Send weekly/monthly reports to the Directors.
  3. Manage immigration procedures for Expatriates.
  4. Prepare the pay slips and invoices.
  5. Follow up on the inter-company invoicing process.
  6. Access the bank account to download payment advice, support reconciliation, and prepare the payments.
  7. Promote the company’s reputation as “THE trustful partner to work with”.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities

  1. Work with directors, customers, and subject matter experts to assess their training needs, offer learning solutions plans, and develop training contents.
  2. Develop interactive and engaging content and apply a learner-centered methodology for instructor-led training, virtual training, and eLearning modules.
  3. Manage multiple instructional design and development projects including timelines, schedules, work scope, and deliverables for assigned projects.
  4. Support the development of team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
  5. Design and collect metrics to measure the effectiveness of our training programs.
  6. Implement and promote facilitation techniques for any type of training.

HR Responsibilities (if required on case-by-case basis)

  1. Prepare recruitment materials and post job openings to appropriate job boards/careers sites/internal Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  2. Source and recruit candidates using internal ATS, social media, job boards, etc.
  3. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  4. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  5. Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Currently in the UAE.
  2. Ability to work from home with full autonomy (with daily meetings with other team members).
  3. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  4. Knowledge and/or educational background in instructional design, facilitation techniques, etc.
  5. Experience in the industries (oil and gas, energy, heavy industries, construction) is preferred but not mandatory.
  6. Minimum 1-2 years of work experience – fresh graduates could be considered.
  7. Rigorous, reactive, and enjoy working in a technical and international environment.
  8. Excellent writing and orthographic skills.
  9. Very comfortable on the phone and possess a very good level of English that allows you to express yourself.
  10. Enthusiastic about technology and ready to be familiarized with our systems.
  11. Appetite for working in a start-up environment.
  12. Knowledge of a second language is appreciated (Arabic or Hindi or Tagalog, etc.).
