ACHVAC Technician
Job description
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting electrical components, lubricating moving parts, and checking refrigerant levels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, using specialized tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Install new HVAC systems for residential and commercial properties, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve HVAC system performance and efficiency through regular inspections and upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all work performed on HVAC systems, including detailed reports and invoices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and related components.
- Valid AC/HVAC Technician certification or license.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of HVAC systems, including central air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to accurately document work performed and maintain organized records.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the specific assignment.
