Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor with Arabic language proficiency to join our finance team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations while leading a team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members.
  • Optimize accounts receivable processes and procedures for increased efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with key clients and handle escalated issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) and fluency in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable.
  • Expertise in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices.
