As our team continues to grow, we are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join us and contribute to our ongoing success.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing all customer payments across our three operating divisions. Your duties will include:

  1. Posting customer remittances
  2. Handling cash and cheque collections from our showrooms
  3. Processing refunds
  4. Reconciling cash collection discrepancies
  5. Managing bad debt write-offs
  6. Allocating payments against open invoices
  7. Ensuring accurate processing of rebates, credit notes, and intercompany sales recharge invoices
  8. Supporting the provision of explanatory facts and supporting documents on audit queries related to sales ledger at the company's external and internal audits
  9. Assisting with monthly account reconciliations
  10. Supporting the improvement of internal controls related to accounts receivable

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a reputable manufacturing or retail organization in the UAE. You should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems, possess strong MS Excel skills, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail when reviewing financial data. Effective communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
