Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Account Relievable with expertise in vehicle insurance claims recovery to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, overseeing insurance claim recoveries, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from insurance companies, fleet customers, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Claims Recovery & Credit Management:

  1. Handle and follow up on insurance claims related to accident-damaged vehicles.
  2. Coordinate with insurance companies, third-party insurers, and legal teams to ensure timely claim settlements.
  3. Verify claim documents, review policy coverage, and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
  4. Negotiate settlements and escalate disputes when necessary.

Debt Collection & Account Reconciliation:

  1. Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of insurance payouts, customer dues, and corporate accounts.
  2. Conduct regular follow-ups via calls, emails, and formal letters for pending recoveries.
  3. Reconcile customer and insurance accounts, resolving discrepancies and disputes.
  4. Work closely with the finance and claims team to track outstanding balances and ensure proper documentation.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  1. Prepare and maintain aging reports for outstanding claims and receivables.
  2. Ensure compliance with UAE credit regulations and insurance claim policies.
  3. Assist in financial audits and provide necessary documentation for legal proceedings.

Customer & Internal Coordination:

  1. Liaise with insurance adjusters, legal representatives, workshops, and fleet operators for smooth recovery processes.
  2. Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to improve credit policies and minimize outstanding debts.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in vehicle insurance claims recovery in the automotive industry.
  3. Valid UAE driver's license.
  4. Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, credit risk assessment, and debt collection.
  5. Experience in handling third-party recoveries, legal claims, and settlement negotiations.
  6. Proficiency in ERP systems would be an added advantage.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
