Accounts Payable Accountant

We have an opportunity with one of our reputed clients in UAE for the position of Accounts Payable Accountant.

Position: Accounts Payable Accountant
Location: Ras Al Khaimah
Assignment Duration: 1 Year

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end accounts payable, from posting to payment.
2. Assist with VAT-related matters.
3. Conduct regular physical inventory counts in coordination with the C&P team.
4. Post FI and procurement invoices after verifying approvals and accuracy.
5. Handle GR/IR reporting, ensuring services are booked and invoices received.
6. Manage master data for materials and services and assist with budget-related issues.
7. Prepare monthly AP aging reports, investigate pending items, and liaise with C&P.
8. Reconcile supplier statements and support VAT matters and audits.
9. Conduct petty cash postings and participate in physical inventory inspections.
10. Perform additional duties as required by the company.

Key Requirements:

1. Around 5 -10 years of relevant experience.
2. Should have experience in SAP (Mandatory).
3. Temporary Contract – 1 year Contract, could be extendable.
4. Candidates from Oil and Gas industry preferred.
