Job description
Responsibilities
Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales, expenses, and payroll. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for cost savings. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasting.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and local regulations. Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST, income tax). Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
Inventory and Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels and cost of goods sold. Work with procurement to control costs and manage supplier payments.
Payroll and Employee Records: Process payroll and maintain employee financial records. Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and statutory deductions.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the bakery manager and production team to align financial processes with operational goals. Communicate with suppliers, customers, and service providers regarding payments and account matters.
