Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and Federal tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns and handle any audits or inquiries.
Payroll Management: Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Support strategic financial planning and decision-making processes by providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly electrical cable manufacturing, is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management abilities.
