The Accounts Assistant (Arabic Speaking) will be responsible for providing assistance to the accounting department by performing clerical tasks, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires fluency in Arabic to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking clients and vendors.
Responsibilities
Process and record invoices, payments, and expenses accurately in the accounting system.
Maintain and update financial records, including bank statements and general ledger.
Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable accounts.
Follow up with clients and vendors regarding payments and outstanding balances.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Communicate with Arabic-speaking clients and vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Proven experience as an accounts assistant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
