Job description

Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, including knowledge of VAT filing and corporate tax regulations.
Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis with a focus on VAT filing and upcoming corporate tax requirements.
Prepare financial statements, budget forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes, considering the implications of VAT and corporate tax on financial planning.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements related to VAT and corporate tax compliance.
Supervise and lead the operations team to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency, taking into account changes in VAT regulations and corporate tax laws.
Monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and supply chain management to optimize operational performance while adhering to VAT and corporate tax guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in VAT filing and corporate tax planning.
Evaluate and assess operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with VAT regulations and corporate tax requirements.
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on financial and operational matters, including the impact of VAT and corporate tax changes.
Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, considering the implications of VAT and corporate tax on business operations.
Proficient in Zoho Books and have expertise in utilizing the platform for efficient accounting processes.
