Talent Acquisition Supervisor at Anderson Business Advisors

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records for multiple clients. This role includes supervising a global team, fostering collaboration across multiple regions, and maintaining high performance and client satisfaction.

The Accounting Supervisor will be instrumental in coordinating efforts between Dubai-based and U.S.-based teams, driving operational excellence while overseeing the work of accounting associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Review:

  1. Conduct in-depth reviews of accounting associates' work on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with company standards and accuracy of financial reports.
  2. Oversee and review the work of multiple team members, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across client accounts.
  3. Provide leadership to the accounting team, promoting collaboration and efficiency between Dubai-based and U.S.-based teams.
  4. Foster growth and development among team members by offering continuous feedback and guidance.
  5. Promote a positive team culture by fostering collaboration, open communication, and professional development while taking initiative to implement new practices that support the best interests of the company, the team, and our clients.

Workload Monitoring and Performance Management:

  1. Monitor the workload of accounting associates and reviewers and ensure tasks are distributed evenly to meet client and company deadlines.
  2. Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, addressing any performance issues in a timely manner.

Process Improvement and Standardization:

  1. Continuously learn and implement new processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in accounting services.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate closely with U.S.-based counterparts and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and efficient workflow across teams.
  2. Assist with global projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment between regions.

Administrative and Operational Support:

  1. Perform administrative tasks as required by the management team to support global accounting operations.
  2. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across the team.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within accounting or bookkeeping.
  3. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and moderate knowledge of Excel.
  4. Proven knowledge of general accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial statements.
  5. Experience managing multiple client accounts and working with global teams.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a global team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in a CPA firm or a related consulting environment.
  2. Familiarity with managing AR accounts and using tools like DocuSign.
  3. Previous experience working with cross-functional or global teams is highly preferred.
