Accounting Specialist

Job Description

Responsible for daily financial accounting, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations;

Preparing financial statements to ensure the accounts are clear, accurate and compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

Responsible for payroll accounting, social security management and finance related matters;

Handling company tax filings including VAT (Value Added Tax) filings and compliance management;

Maintaining the financial system to ensure the security and validity of data;

Assisting in annual audits, and preparing related financial information;

Optimize financial processes and improve financial operation efficiency;

Other related financial affairs assigned by supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor degree or above, majoring in accounting, financial management, finance or other related fields;

At least 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, experience in multinational or local Dubai companies is preferred;

Proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience in VAT tax filing;

Proficient in Excel, SAP, QuickBooks, or other financial software;

Good communication skills in English, Chinese preferred; Meticulous and responsible, with good teamwork and resilience; Holding international financial certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc. is preferred.

Possessing a legal status to work in the UAE or be able to apply for a work visa.
