About the role

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our Finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute to the efficiency of our finance operations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Prepare journal entries, manage ledgers, and conduct bank reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments
• Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as required
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and UAE regulations

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
