ACCOUNTANT - TAGALOG SPEAKING

Our client is a leading diversified group with experience in chemical products distribution supply chain logistics in the MENA region, looking to hire a General Accountant CPA for their Dubai office.

An experienced accountant knowledgeable and with practical experience in procurement, accounts payable, cashbooks, general ledger accounts maintenance, inventory management, and taxation. Capable of working independently with minimum supervision.

What will you do

• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and goods sold on consignment.
• Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Receive inventory in the accounting system and generate suppliers' invoices in multi-currencies.
• Maintain effective inventory for the company by running item forecasts based on current stock holding.
• Initiate creditors' payments and share payment and allocation details with creditors, including drafting bank STLs.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business Studies majoring in Accounting or Applied Accounting.
• MUST BE CPA certified.
• Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience in a distribution or trading organization.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using TALLY is a MUST.
