Requirements:

1. Post-secondary education in Accounting, or previous experience in a corporate accounting related job preferred.
2. Possess knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
3. Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
4. Proficient in MS Office (Excel).
5. Analytical thinker with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Working knowledge of payroll remittances and payroll journal entries (U.S. and Canadian) is an asset.
