Job description
  • Posting Cash, Cheques and Bank Transfers receipts and Outgoing Payments regularly and allocating them to the correct invoices
  • Performing Month End Closing tasks
  • Perform Quarterly Physical Stock count of Sales Vehicles and Warehouses
  • Managing the finance department documents by filing and organizing efficiently
  • Scanning all Necessary Documents for easy Tracking and retrieval
  • Coordinate with Assistant accountant to ensure timely submission and retrieval of financial documents
  • Receiving settlements from RSR by checking all necessary documents and reporting to supervisors/Asst Managers in case of any discrepancy
  • Reconciling Daily cash, cheques with the System
  • Depositing cash in SCDM machines, Coins and Cheque in a bank on a Regular Basis
  • Managing Cashier area by arranging Daily Settlements and ensuring all other necessary documents are properly filed and arranged and transported to Head office archive room
  • Issuance of Coupon books to salesmen and keeping track of reorder levels to ensure availability of the books
  • Reconciling bank statement on a daily and monthly basis
  • Posting market return GRVs, scrap invoices by confirming the payments
  • Posting VAT Return entries for Vending Machine Transactions daily and reconciling with General Ledgers
  • Available to work shift duties, Extra working hours and Relocation to other Branches as per business requirement
  • Managing Daily branch activities by assisting Senior accountant/Supervisor
  • Performing any other tasks as per business requirement

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s in accounting & commerce / Intermediate and Five Years Experience in Mai Dubai Finance Dept.
  • Experience: 0-2 Years’ experience within the UAE or GCC countries, understanding of the Bottled Water Industry or related field.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge on Finance & Accounting, In-depth knowledge in accounting standards
  • Skills: Communication Skills (written and spoken English), work under pressure, data entry, good numeracy skills
  • Reporting Skills: Very good in English speaking
  • Attitude: Enthusiasm, and commitment to learn about and get involved in the department’s activities, Interpersonal skills
