This position will involve managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and optimize business performance.
ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and receipts, in the accounting system.
Conduct month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and depreciation.
Prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Process and reconcile electronic payments and transfers for accounts payable and other operational expenses.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices and ensuring timely payment collections.
Maintain accurate records of fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
Processing of all staff related entries including but not limited to payroll, reimbursements and gratuity.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns ensuring compliance with local legislation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze financial data, recruitment metrics, and large datasets to provide insights and identify areas for improvement.
Generate business-critical reports, combining financial and recruitment data for management review.
Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and other documentation required for decision-making.
CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate financial data within the CRM system, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entries.
Train team members on best practices for managing financial data and using the CRM for reporting.
Continuously optimize CRM and financial reporting systems to improve efficiency and support the agency's financial needs.

KEY INGREDIENTS
Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
