Accountant (Construction)

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the construction industry to join our team at MIRA-Search. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring financial compliance for various construction projects, mainly working as a petty cashier cum accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations related to construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing.
• Knowledge about construction-related purchasing.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts specific to construction projects.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of audit materials and financial reports.
• Collaborate with project managers to support project financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards specific to the construction industry.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other required filings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the construction industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
