Our client, a well-known automotive spare parts firm, is currently looking to hire an Accountant in Jafza Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and data analysis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for month-end close.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Responsible for VAT & TAX calculation and submission.
Prepare and help in the requirements of Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) submission.
Fixed Assets Management.
Inventory Management.
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing audit inquiries.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making by management.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Stay current with accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the same industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information.
