Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant and Administrative Assistant. This dual role encompasses responsibilities in both accounting and administrative domains, offering a unique opportunity for a professional who enjoys a varied workday with tasks ranging from financial record-keeping to office management. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting:
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  3. Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
  4. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  5. Manage payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations.
  6. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  8. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  9. Administrative:
  10. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the office.
  11. Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and manage travel arrangements for staff.
  12. Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  13. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  14. Develop and maintain a filing system for financial and non-financial information.
  15. Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an accountant and administrative assistant.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting software and databases.
  4. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  5. Proficient in MS Office, with a high level of competence in Excel.
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  1. Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
