Accountant – Accounts Payable

My client is a leading solution provider, active in the Oil & Gas sector.

They are constantly growing all over the Middle East and are actively looking for an Accountant to join their Finance Team in Dubai.

The Role:

Responsible for the complete accounting cycle relating to accounts payable for the group including:

1. Inputting invoices into accounting system
2. Processing invoices in a timely manner
3. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
4. Directly reporting to the Finance Director
5. Processing weekly payment runs
6. Coordination of month-end and quarter-end activities, journal entries and reconciliations
7. Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the Director of Finance

Minimum Requirements:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
2. MUST BE HOLDING a Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or a CPA)
3. MUST HAVE at least 2 years' working experience relevant to accounting. Experience in a similar sector is a plus
4. Good knowledge of using accounting software
5. Good communication skills in English. Arabic or French skills an added advantage

They are offering a salary package between AED 10,000 and 15,000, depending on your experience and educational background.
