Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team at one of our client's organizations as an Entry-Level Accountant. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience in accounting who is eager to kick-start their career in finance. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team and be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:
   Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
   Enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
   Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
   Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
   Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
   Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
4. Expense Tracking:
   Monitor and track business expenses.
   Verify expense reports submitted by employees.
5. Assist in Budgeting:
   Support in the preparation of budgets.
   Monitor budgetary compliance.
6. Financial Analysis:
   Assist in analyzing financial data and generating reports.
   Provide support in identifying financial trends.
7. Compliance:
   Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
   Assist in preparing documentation for audits.
8. Communication:
   Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
   Provide assistance to other departments regarding financial matters.
9. Professional Development:
   Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
   Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Experience as an Accountant is a plus.
3. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
