Job description
Job Title : Factory Labourer - Mineral Water Factory
Responsibilities :
Production Line Support :
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of production machinery used in the bottling, capping, and labeling of mineral water.
- Ensure that the production line runs smoothly by following safety and quality procedures.
- Monitor the production line for any issues, malfunctions, or product defects and report them to supervisors.
Packaging :
- Help in the packaging of bottled water, including filling bottles, sealing, and labeling.
- Ensure that all packaged products meet quality standards before they are sent for distribution.
Loading and Unloading :
- Load raw materials (such as bottles, caps, and labels) into the production area.
- Unload finished products and prepare them for storage or shipment.
- Assist in organizing finished goods in the warehouse and maintaining stock levels.
Maintenance and Cleaning :
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area.
- Perform regular cleaning of production equipment, tools, and machines.
- Ensure proper hygiene practices are followed to meet health and safety regulations.
Quality Control Assistance :
- Assist quality control personnel in inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with the water quality, bottles, caps, or labels.
Health and Safety :
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of coworkers.
- Handle hazardous materials, chemicals, or machinery in accordance with established safety guidelines.
General Labor Duties :
- Perform other physical tasks as required, such as moving materials, stacking products, and helping with maintenance tasks.
- Assist supervisors in various operational tasks to improve production efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Physical Stamina and Strength : Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
- Attention to Detail : Ensure quality standards are met in every aspect of production.
- Teamwork : Ability to work efficiently as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Basic Technical Knowledge : Understanding of basic machinery operation and maintenance, or the willingness to learn.
- Health and Safety Awareness : Knowledge of and adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
- Previous Experience (preferred but not required) : Experience working in manufacturing, particularly in the food and beverage industry, is a plus.
Working Conditions :
- Factory environment, which may involve standing for long periods, working with machinery, and handling raw materials.
- May require working in shifts or extended hours during peak production times.
