Job description
Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions: Manage and record daily financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Handle invoicing payments and collections maintaining an updated ledger.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Payroll Management: Assist in processing monthly payroll ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submission as per UAE tax regulations.
- Budgeting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Audit Preparation: Support in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE preferably in a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial laws.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial tasks.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
