Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the preparation of financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
3. Handle accounts payable, receivable, and inventory accounting specific to pharmaceutical operations.
4. Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
6. Analyze cost structures and pricing strategies related to pharmaceutical products.
7. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes.
8. Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other local regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial workflows and processes.
10. Stay updated on pharmaceutical industry trends and their potential financial impact.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
3. Technical Skills:
   1. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
   2. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
4. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management, cost accounting, and tax compliance.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
