Job description

Micah Solutions FZE is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client, a prominent firm in Dubai. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes within the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee salaries
  • Support external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Provide financial advice and support to management as required
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in Real Estate/Property Development/ Construction
