Accountant

This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and strategic financial planning for the Singapore and Dubai entities. It involves managing the preparation of financial statements, monitoring financial performance, and providing insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts for Singapore and Dubai entities.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Track and report on cash flows, investments, and asset valuations.
• Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Provide support in strategic decision-making by offering financial data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Monitor and reconcile management accounts and the general ledger.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA/ACCA qualification (required).
• 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the asset management or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements (UAE).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP B1 and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of investment accounting and asset management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
