Description

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.
2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
3. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4. Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
5. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

Tax & Compliance:

1. Prepare and file necessary tax documentation, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other business-related filings.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and government regulations.
3. Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting financial data and preparing projections.

Auditing & Internal Controls:

1. Assist with internal audits and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
2. Monitor internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
3. Maintain and update accounting software and ensure data accuracy.
4. Leverage financial systems for reporting and process improvement.
