Accuracy of Financial Entries: Ensure timely and error-free recording of financial transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain records in line with UAE VAT laws and ensure the company is audit-ready at all times.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Efficiency: Monitor aging reports, ensure timely payments and collections, and maintain healthy cash flow cycles.
Monthly & Annual Closing: Lead monthly closing processes and prepare final accounts as per management timelines.
Critical Reporting for Management: Prepare insightful financial reports, dashboards, and cash flow statements to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in annual budgeting and provide variance analysis reports.
Inventory and Cost Management: Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for cost tracking and stock valuation.
Vendor and Bank Reconciliations: Perform accurate reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, and inter-company balances.
ERP System Utilization: Ensure effective use and data accuracy in the company's ERP/accounting system.
Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with internal departments including Sales, Procurement, and HR to align financial practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on UAE financial regulations and ensure timely filing of VAT and other statutory submissions.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in accounting or financial management roles.
Edge: Candidates with experience in trading, industrial supply, or technical services will have an advantage.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP), excellent analytical and reporting skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
