Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounts within real estate or DEVELOPMENT. They will be responsible for managing vendor payments, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, and maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor due payments and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment-related queries.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial guidelines.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Manage any ad-hoc task given by the Line Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BSc in Accountancy).
• 3-4 years of experience in Accounts, preferably in Real Estate or DEVELOPMENT.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Preferably available to join immediately.
