Westlakes Recruit is partnering with a leading real estate company in Abu Dhabi to find an experienced Accountant. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and analysis, ensuring the company's financial integrity. Candidates must have experience in real estate and knowledge of UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recording: Post journal entries and process accounts payable/receivable.
Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including reconciliations and bank statements.
Financial Statements: Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting month-end/year-end closings.
Tax & Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Bookkeeping: Handle invoicing, payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation for audits and assist with ad-hoc reports.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
External Relationships:
External Auditors, Vendors, Clients
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate.
Knowledge of UAE financial regulations.
Preferred:
Pursuing CPA or equivalent certification.
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in accounting software and general ledger management.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of tax compliance and audit support.
