We are currently hiring for an Account Manager - Heavy Lifting Technology based out of UAE to develop the Middle East market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the market by building a strong customer base in the area of responsibility, converting the known potential into contracts, generating new leads & customers in the designated region, and ensuring that the sales entity meets its growth targets through excellent communications, networking, and sales skills. This position will also be responsible for Enerpac's overall product sales in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate customer requirements through sales visits and close customer contact, actively visit the larger end-user accounts and any prospects identified.
Grow sales within existing clients and generate additional sales growth/profit through the identification and development of new clients.
Lead Account Managers in identifying potential customers and organize visits to generate new business.
Guide Account Managers through complicated proposals and participate in negotiation, site visits, and finalization of orders.
Assist in issuing professional, technical quotations and maximizing margin.
Liaise with Application Engineers, customers, and Account Managers for all technical questions on special products.
Liaise with colleagues to ensure that opportunities for product and market development are identified and actioned.
Ensure promotion of products and services by organizing technical presentations, demonstrations, and trainings.
Recommend technical solutions to end users.
Report regularly on opportunities, current quotation status, and expected orders; use this information for proper forecasting.
Lead and coordinate marketing activities such as VOC, exhibitions, market mapping, etc.
Provide appropriate reporting as required, e.g., score card, visit reports, etc.
Participate in improvement activities to ensure the smooth flow of systems and information and to eliminate waste in all processes.
Ensure all HSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the organization. Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
Who are we looking for:
A sales-oriented candidate with experience working in the Heavy Lifting Industry and who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/BA or related fields.
5 years’ experience in the Middle East region.
Ability to work in a matrix organizational structure.
Effective communication skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Effective and efficient traveling of at least -% within the allocated region (occasional outside of the designated region) is required.
