Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms, built with love by chefs, nutritionists, and software engineers. Launched in Bahrain in 2019, we have since expanded to 6 countries, delivered millions of meals to our customers, and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

Role Overview

To portion meals for our customers using our technology - ensuring all meals are ready and packaged to be dispatched on time for the deliveries, while adhering to high standards of hygiene, quality & consistency.

Main Responsibilities

1. Portioning the components for every meal for every specific customer on time before deliveries go out.
2. Communicating with the drivers & Customer Experience team to ensure a top-notch customer experience.
3. Maintaining proper hygiene standards in the kitchen.
4. Ensuring any last minute changes are carried out with our high standards.

Ideal Candidate

1. Must have at least 1-2 years of dispatching experience in the food industry, preferably in fast food.
2. Holds very high standards in hygiene practices in a kitchen facility.
3. Must be a proficient communicator in English.
4. Has good communication skills.
5. Knowledge in food safety is a plus.
6. Currently located in UAE.
7. Enthusiastic and values respect for everyone around them.
8. Acts with empathy.
