JOB DESCRIPTION

LPS Brands (www.lps-me.com) is looking for an Account Director - a client servicing champion, an Arabic first professional, digital maven, and a budding opinion leader for its integrated client engagement; to skillfully lead its growing portfolio of strategic government organizations.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. 8+ years managerial experience in agencies within the UAE/ Middle East region for Digital and social media assignments is mandatory.
  2. Rich experience and a successful track record with digital or social media first engagements.
  3. Proven record of P&L management, team leadership, and account wins.
  4. Highly organized and adept at managing multiple client accounts/timelines on a daily basis.
  5. Entrepreneurial and constantly looking for business growth and development opportunities.
  6. Passionate about creating engaging and entertaining brand campaigns.
  7. Comfortable working in an aggressive, fast-paced startup culture and flexible to work outside office hours on social media requirements; willing to take up all-round business tasks as part of the team; team player; agency experience is preferable.
  8. Fluent in English with a strong command of grammar; capable of writing flawless English prose for social media posts.
  9. Experience working on monthly/weekly social media or content plans alongside brand teams and content creators; first-hand knowledge of the current digital media landscape and social platforms, including social content formats like memes, GIFs, trends, vines, stories, live content, scheduling, and analytics applications.
  10. Agile and flexible to turn around real-time social content/ideas quickly; highly sensitive to timelines and content commitments; comfortable writing large amounts of engaging content daily.
  11. A constant learner, listener, and reader; always looking to upgrade social media, content writing, and other support skills.
  12. A jack of all trades; open to learning new software/platforms to supplement creative skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Account Management Ownership: Directly build and grow value relationships, manage and retain key clients/decision makers and influencers for agency accounts in Creative/Social/Digital.
  2. Commercial: Proven success record to drive the account business portfolio towards business targets - revenue and bottom line.
  3. Team Leadership: Supervise a team of managers and executives - account, community, short-form content/interface with creative teams, and interns to ensure 360 service delivery on social media management - client strategy, shoot operations, creative direction, platform strategy, posting operations, community growth and management, and reporting.
  4. Creative: Provide creative judgement for the agency accounts and get buy-in for clients. Build style guide/voice & tone.
  5. Operations: Ensure timely scheduling/posting/community response of social media plans.
  6. Deliverables & Performance: Ensure the account deliverables and KPIs for brands are met on a monthly & quarterly basis on a first-person responsible basis.
  7. Act as an ambassador of the agency and its values, internally and externally.
