AC Technician for Bus-Dubai/Abu Dhabi

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair AC systems in heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for AC service, including gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors.
• Install and replace AC components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, with precision and care.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest AC technology and industry advancements through continuous training and workshops.
• Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients for enhanced satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance in a workshop or on-site.
• Assist in training junior technicians in best practices and troubleshooting techniques for heavy-duty vehicle AC systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or automotive technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AC systems for heavy-duty vehicles, preferably in a UAE environment.
• Certification in refrigerant handling and recovery, such as EPA 608 or equivalent, is essential.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus for effective communication.
• Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing complex AC systems, with a focus on heavy machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting under pressure and providing timely solutions.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of work.
• Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
