Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

1. Carry out preventive maintenance, repair or retrofit of all type of A/C & Refrigeration work.
2. Record and analyze operating logs and utilities. Take immediate measures as necessary during emergencies in repair works.
3. Responsible to work closely with HVAC Technician when need arises.
4. Carry out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and A/C & Refrigeration equipment according to the standards and requirements.
5. Perform daily startup, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment as per the standards and requirements.
6. Maintain tools and equipment, and perform engineering housekeeping work.
7. Update daily maintenance log, complete the work order forms & keep the workplace clean, tidy and well organized.
8. Attend to complaints from hotel guests and other departments.
9. Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service.

Qualifications

1. Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
2. At least two years operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
3. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
