A/V Technician

As an A / V Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for various events and presentations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless audio-visual experiences for our clients and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events, conferences, and corporate presentations.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on A / V equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage cable installations and connections for various A / V systems.
• Operate sound mixing consoles and lighting control systems.
• Collaborate with event planners and clients to understand and meet their A / V requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to presenters and speakers.
• Stay updated on the latest A / V technologies and implement new solutions as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of A / V equipment and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in A / V operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in A / V technology and live event production.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various audio and video equipment.
• Strong knowledge of digital audio / video systems and presentation software.
• Excellent cable management and organization skills.
• Experience with sound mixing and lighting control.
• Associate's degree in Audio / Video Technology or related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
