A/C Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As an A/C Technician, you are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air quality control systems. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

1. Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel - freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.
2. Maintain preventively all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the hotel.
3. Check on the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
4. Verify all door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers (door gaskets/latches).
5. Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
6. Work on maintenance requests from all departments.
7. Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
8. Check on the performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
9. Cooperate with all engineering colleagues in the detection of failures of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and function setup.
10. Strict control on venting of CFCs to the atmosphere.
11. Overhaul air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems.
12. Check all refrigeration and oil levels and control of major repairs.
13. Cooperate and inform Engineering Storekeeper on the purchase of parts.
14. Carry out all works as per the country technical regulations and safety standards.

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering with previous experience in the same role and a proven knowledge of the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.
