AED 6000-7000 p / m tax-free
The Role
Maintain the health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to project the safety of the public, and contractor personnel. Comply with Corporate, State, Federal and local Regulations.
Prepare specific project plans for health, safety & environment.
Deliver and track new employee safety orientations. Develop and deliver training programmes in a manner that raises awareness and enables employees and supervisors to work safely.
Participate in and lead the safety committee meeting to address site-related safety, health and environment issues.
Plan, develop and conduct employee safety, fire prevention and accident prevention programmes.
Review fire evaluation plans at site as per site conditions and requirements periodically.
Evaluate safety performance of the employees, subcontractors and suppliers and take disciplinary action against their frequent violation of health and safety requirements.
Advise the Management on new rules/regulations implemented by the Government.
Ensure the Safety Management System is established, implemented and maintained with compliance to relevant standards.
Inspection of all work sites and communication of corrective measures to the Management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment
