Job description

Our esteemed client in Dubai, UAE is seeking a talented and experienced Private Chef (M / F) to join their household. This live-out position involves preparing daily meals for the family, household staff, and guests on occasion. The chef must have a strong background in Mediterranean and Thai cuisine, and be attentive to specific dietary requirements, with a focus on balance, nutrition, and flavor.

The selected candidate will bring skill, elegance, and consistency to every dish, ensuring that each meal is tailored to the family’s preferences and standards.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare fresh, high-quality meals daily for: Two adults (one main meal per day), three children (three meals per day), three household staff members.
2. Occasionally cook for guests (10–15 people), with instructions.
3. Plan and execute menus with variety and creativity.
4. Specialize in Mediterranean and Thai cuisine, focusing on vegetables, rice, fish, and chicken.
5. Respect strict dietary preferences and restrictions, including: No meat, pork, onions, or scallops; vegan-friendly options required.
6. Source fresh, high-quality ingredients and maintain appropriate kitchen stock.
7. Uphold the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards in all areas of the kitchen.
8. Coordinate menu planning directly with the client.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Private Chef or in high-end, fine-dining restaurants.
2. Expertise in Mediterranean and Thai cuisine strongly preferred.
3. Demonstrated ability to create balanced, creative, and flavorful dishes.
4. Excellent understanding of dietary needs, health-conscious ingredients, and presentation.
5. Professional kitchen management and organizational skills.
6. Ability to manage occasional guest catering with ease and discretion.
7. Based in Dubai, with existing accommodation (live-out).
8. Open to all qualified candidates, regardless of gender or nationality.
9. Fluent in English.

Work conditions

1. Location: Dubai, UAE.
2. Type of position: Live-out, full-time.
3. Working days: Six days per week, with one day off.
4. Clients: Five family members and three staff members (regular meals).
5. Guest catering: Required occasionally for up to 15 guests.
6. Benefits: Visa sponsorship, medical insurance, annual flight ticket.
