Key Responsibilities:

2 - Civil Engineer – Construction Supervision (Airport Projects)

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with airport project experience to join our team for our construction supervision project at Sharjah International Airport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of airport facilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage construction activities for airport infrastructure projects.
2. Manage a team of Engineers and Inspectors.
3. Ensure compliance with contract documents, design specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures during the construction phase.
4. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
5. Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and verify that work is being completed as per approved plans, submittals and specifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Inspector with expertise in steel structures to oversee the construction and quality control of airport infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that steel fabrication and installation meet project specifications, safety standards, and industry’s best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspection, testing, and quality control of steel structures in airport projects, including terminal buildings, hangars, bridges, and support facilities.
2. Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety codes, and industry standards (AISC, ASTM, AWS, FAA, ICAO, etc.).
3. Review and verify steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection processes to ensure proper execution.
4. Inspect materials, structural connections, and welding quality at fabrication yards and construction sites.
