16 TON FORKLIFT OPERATER (8 NUMBER LICENSE)

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16-ton forklift to load and unload materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of the forklift, identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
• Efficiently transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse, optimizing routes to enhance productivity.
• Load and secure cargo in accordance with weight distribution guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe transport.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately recording materials moved, maintaining up-to-date logs for tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the timely movement of goods, ensuring smooth operations and minimal delays.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to update inventory levels and report discrepancies as they arise.
• Follow proper procedures for stacking and unstacking materials, ensuring stability and safety in storage areas.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions to stay updated on best practices and compliance requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and safety.
